JESS’S BOOKING INFO:

How The Booking Process Works:

Jess opens her booking form a few times a year to accept new clients and project inquiries for a selected 3-4 month period of time. When her books are open for custom inquiries, she will have the link available on this website and sent directly to her mailing list subscribers.

Appointments are typically booked for half day or full day sessions and priced at a flat rate (see below).

Jess will have pre drawn flash designs available at all times for clients to book. These flash designs can be requested at any time whether her booking form is open or not. Pre drawn flash designs are designs and styles that Jess really wants to focus on tattooing and are to be tattooed “as is”. These designs will be custom tailored to fit each individuals body but no major changes are to be made to these designs.

Tuesday-friday 11am-6pm

rates:

Half Day Rate: $600

Required Non-Refundable Booking Fee: $100

Half day appointments are scheduled for 11am-2pm or 3pm-6pm.

A half day consists of 3 hours of work including: design layout/stencil placement, tattooing, aftercare instructions. Half day sessions are recommended for smaller projects, for clients who cannot sit for extended periods of tattooing, or for clients that have a general time constraint.

*For some large scale projects, a half day may not be an adequate amount of time to start the project.


Full Day Rate: $1150

Required Non-Refundable Booking Fee: $200

A full day is an 11am-5pm appointment that consists of 5-6 hours of work including: design layout/stencil placement, tattooing, aftercare instructions (with occasional breaks to stretch, eat, utilize the restroom, etc).

*Full day sessions are recommended for larger projects that may require more than one session, especially for the initial appointment when starting a large scale project such as back pieces, leg or arm sleeves, or large scale coverup projects.


Smaller tattoos: Price Varies

Required Non-Refundable Booking Fee: $100

Smaller tattoos are tattoos that will take less than a half day session to complete (typically tattoos that will take no more than 1-2 hours max to complete). These tattoos will be priced at a flat rate based off of tattoo design, detail, style, size, and location on the body.

Prices range from $150-$450.

*Jess has a $150 minimum.


TRAVEL RATES:

Half Day: $700 ($200 booking fee required)

Full Day: $1250 ($300 booking fee required)

Travel rates will be applied to guest spots and conventions. This additional cost to the hourly rate helps cover travel costs, lodging, transportation, and convention/studio fees.


Booking fees:

All booking fees are non-refundable.

All booking is done via a booking app called Venue Ink. The booking link is available on this page when Jess is accepting inquiries.

Once an inquiry is accepted by Jess, a booking fee request will be sent via the booking app for easy payment and scheduling. Booking fees are due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent. If you are not ready to pay your booking fee, your appointment date & time will not be held.

This booking fee secures your appointment date, time and tattoo design.


Your booking fee will be void/lost if:

  • You do not show up to your scheduled appointment (no call, no show).

  • You cancel/reschedule with less than 5 days notice.

  • After you reschedule 1 time — deposits may be carried over one time if rescheduled with at least 5 days notice.

  • If you decide to cancel your appointment altogether, your booking fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Booking fees are not transferable to any other artists working at Mesmer Tattoo.


PAYMENT METHOD At Appointment:

At your tattoo appointment cash is preferred for the remaining balance but other forms of payment accepted are credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Afterpay.

A card processing fee + tax will be applied to all card transactions.


RESCHEDULE/Cancellation/late POLICY:

As a business, part of our success depends on mutual respect of time. Remembering and respecting the appointment date and time is your responsibility.

Please give at least 5 days notice if you need to reschedule for any reason — with adequate notice, you will be able to carry your booking fee with you to your rescheduled date in the event that you need to move your appointment.

You may carry over your booking fee for one reschedule appointment as long as it has been rescheduled with more than 5 days notice. All further rescheduled will require a new deposit.

If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact Jess via email or the booking app as soon as possible. We get it, things happen - just let us know.


Consultation/Design Process:

Jess requires consultations for most tattoo appointments — these are done either in person or over Zoom video chat. During consultations, Jess and her client discuss the design in detail and get clarity on the project they will be working on. From there, if Jess has any questions about the design after meeting with a client for their consultation, she will reach out with questions for more clarification.

The design process is based a lot on the trust her clients have in her style and her ability to listen to their input to create a unique design for them to the best of her ability. Any minor changes to designs can be made the day of the appointment. Jess does not regularly send photos of drawings to clients before their scheduled appointments but she is happy to show what she has drawn up the day or two before if requested.
