Meet The Artist: Lexi Bozza

Lexi has always had a deep passion for art. Regardless of where life led her, she would always seek solace in her creative process.

After graduating from SUNY Fredonia in 2018 with a degree in Neuroscience, Lexi pursued her career in medicine. Her life path ultimately led her to leave Rochester in 2020 to work in cancer research in New York City.

As time went on, Lexi realized that she needed to pursue a career where creativity wasn’t just a hobby, but the heart of what she did every day. In 2021, Lexi began her apprenticeship at 10 Thousand Foxes Tattoo in Queens, where she worked under Tim O’Connor (owner and operator). Since then she has continued to dedicate herself to the art of tattooing.

Lexi has been tattooing since May of 2022 and she truly loves what she does. Even more than that, she loves the people she gets to do it all with. For Lexi, tattooing is about more than just making art — it’s about connection, trust, and collaboration. Every piece she creates is a shared moment with someone, a blend of their story and her creativity. She feels incredibly lucky and grateful to meet so many unique, inspiring individuals through this work. Whether it's a tiny, meaningful piece or a full-day session on a large project, she is here to create something beautiful with her clients and make the process feel as good as the final result.

After living in New York City for 6 years, Lexi is now living back in Rochester, NY and is eager to get back to her roots and grow with the local tattoo community. Currently, Lexi loves to explore a plethora of tattooing styles, but tends to gravitate towards black and grey realism and full-color neotraditional pieces. Every piece she creates is a chance to learn something new and to evolve in her craft. She is deeply grateful for the clients who trust her, and she approaches every tattoo as a collaborative experience built on care, intention, and constant learning.
